Indeed, a very interesting picture.

One thing I find to be somewhat strange, but very cool nonetheless, is the fact the picture actually draws your eyes more towards the left than down the centre, as one may expect it would. Very nifty.

why left?
i think the left side is not more spectacular than the right, is it?

Heh, well, let me try and explain

At the farthest end of the hallway, the lights lay more heavily on the right side of the hall. Because of that, the eye is drawn to the darker side of the hallway. It isn't so extreme as it may sound, like staring at the the block of darkness before the first light, but if you take a step back and look at it, you will see that your eye moves more easily towards the left of the picture than to the right of.
