Artist's Comments

why do we hate strangers?
what's so different about them?
why are religion, color and culture so important?

racism still is an unsolved problem...

edit@17.05: resubmitted the picture with less size since it really was too big.
BUT: if you think big is better, please just tell me...

Great concept. I really like the idea you've made...its really well thought out. The bordering is particularly well done. Keep up the great work!

wow this is really powerful ^_^ I'm surprised this wasn't viewed or commented on more. I saw one of your pictures on the Daily Deviation, and that one is good, but I think this deserves it more. I don't understand the thought process (if there is one) of the people picking those things but ANYWAY! this is really awesome. I like it a lot. simple, yet it means so much. I commend you ^.^

If you can't say something nice about someone, write it on a piece of paper and tape it to their back

this is great, strong message, but yet again, such simple object. this is really cool.

Excellent photo. I love your use of symbolism here to produce an intriguing picture.

I think much of the problem with racism is that people like to use it as an excuse to get free money. Don't like what a person says to you? Call him a racist, take it to court, and get some money. I don't think of myself as being overly racist. I think of myself as one who discriminates based on intelligence. If someone is stupid, I probably don't like them. If someone can demonstrate that they are smart, they're cool in my book.

Back to your picture... how did you make that border? I love it, and if you could let me in on the secret, that would be great.
